Applikationen aus Stoffresten mit der PixScan-Matte

Hier zeige ich euch, wie ich mit der PixScan-Matte (spezielle Schneidmatte für Cameo oder Portrait von Silhouette America) Applikationen aus Stoffresten schneide.
Ich arbeite hier mit dem Silhouette Studio-Programm und der DesignerEdition und der Matte für den Cameo. 
Aber das geht auch nur mit dem Studio-Programm, ohne DesignerEdition und die Matte gibt es auch für den Portrait! 
Meine Art, die ich hier beschreibe, mag nicht unbedingt die schnellste sein, aber mir sind auch qualitativ gute Ergebnisse wichtig! 

Stoffstück auswählen und Fabric Interfacing - Sewable auf die Stoffrückseite bügeln. 
(Vliesofix geht auch, H250 oder Stickvlies gehen nicht.) 
Den Stoff dann auf die Pixscan-Matte legen und fotografieren (mit dem Handy oder der Digitalkamera):

Die Qualität des Fotos ist nicht so gut, also habe ich es etwas mit IrfanView (kostenloses Bildbearbeitungsprogramm) bearbeitet:

Jetzt die Matte laden und auf "Schnitteinstellungen" klicken. 
Unter "Material Typ" habe ich dann "Stoff - dünne Stoffe wie Baumwolldrucke" ausgewählt. Die vorgegebenen Werte habe ich nicht verändert. Messer am Plotter auf 3 stellen und dann auf "an Silhouette senden" klicken.

Das Schneiden von Motivkarton und Zeichnungen geht auch so, nur dass natürlich da nichts untergebügelt werden muss und andere Schneideinstellungen genommen werden!

3D Paper Pumpkins - Free Patterns

Quilled Poppy in Progress (5) and Custom Cut Paper

I've mentioned my love for paper from Daiso, a Japanese $2 dollar store. I've used it for many craft projects in the past. I wish they had more colors, because they offer a great range of shades in soft colors. Here are their "warm" and "cold" color packs. They don't list the thickness/weight but it's heavier than standard quilling strips because I find it holds the curve or shape I want over a greater distance, yet is flexible enough for me to make my tight coils without splitting, as thicker stock does. I use my Silhouette die cutter to cut lines in the paper, just shy of the ends so they stay in behaving sheets. Here are the 3 colors I've chosen to use in my poppy. I worried the dark one was too salmon, but it didn't look too bad when in place after all. I would make my general outlines with the darker strips first.
