Quilling Letter V – How to Make Variegated Leaves Tutorial Quilling leaves is quite easy to do, and you don't need a pattern. In this tutorial, I show how to make two different types of leaves with a variegated color center, using very simple softening techniques. When you're first starting quilling, using different colors can be daunting. So I always suggest adding a complementary color or a different shade. This is a great example of doing just that. I've used a soft pink and a dark red for my monogram. The pink is picked up with the card background, and since there isn't any dark red, I've added a simple border all around.
